Bride of the Month: Gemma

Gemma and Andrew tied the knot in September, with a quirky wedding style with lots of vintage touches.

Gemma came across her amazing feathered dress in O'Keefe in Esher, not the obvious place to look for a wedding dress, but it became the inspiration for a wedding that was anything but cookie-cutter!

Gemma and her bridesmaids carried fun button bouquets instead of flowers which set a light-hearted tone to the outfits.

The wedding took place at St Pauls church in East Molesey, and the reception was at Molesey Boat Club.

Gemma wore a vintage-style Modern Heirloom Side Tiara by Yarwood-White, which she bought from The Dress in Teddington at one of their fabulous accessory evenings.  Gemma and her mum spent the evening sipping champagne and browsing the beautiful handmade accessories.  She completed the look with simple pearl studs, pendant and bracelet, which allowed the dress and headdress to shine.

Bride of the Month: Pippa

 

Pippa married her gorgeous partner Mark last December in central London.  She epitomised the Yarwood-White look with her classic, elegant dress and timeless pearl accessories.

Pippa's amazing hair and make up was by Alexis Daly.  She wore a classic chignon, accessorized with our Fern Tiara Comb.

 
 


The Fern Tiara Comb is made with freshwater pearls and diamante on a silver plated comb. It can be worn at the front of the hair like a traditional tiara, or at the side or back as show on Pippa. It is one of our best-selling headdresses and has previously featured on the cover of Cosmo Bride magazine.

Bride of the Month: Amy

Amy and Eric married in October 2010 at a relaxed, country wedding in Suffolk.  What is striking about this wedding is how delighted Amy looks throughout the day.

Amy chose classic pearl and diamante accessories from our Modern Heirloom range which along with a birdcage veil gave her elegant dress a vintage twist.

Amy works at the fabulous You & Your Wedding magazine, so we were particularly flattered that with all her wedding experience and resources at her fingertips she chose to wear Yarwood-White on her big day.

Bride of the Month: Jenny

We are really pleased to announce that the lovely Jenny is our March Bride of the Month.  Jenny first came across Yarwood-White when she was browsing through bridal magazines and liked the style of our jewellery.

 

 
Jenny wore an ivory lace and organza gown which was embellished with pearls and crystals.  We helped Jenny choose jewellery from our Divinity Collection that would compliment her dress. The scalloped effect of the pearls looks really pretty with lace.

"I loved the romantic and feminine feel of my dress and the Divinity collection was the perfect finishing touch" said Jenny.

Jenny choose the Divinity Necklace, Divinty Drop Earrings and Divinity Bracelet.  

Jenny also bought jewellery for her mum and bridesmaids.  Jenny's mum wore the Angel Collection silver earrings, bracelet and necklace.  This is a beautiful, delicate collection which is perfect for both bride and Mother of the Bride.

                    

Jenny's sisters were her bridesmaids and they wore our Fern Drop Earrings, Fern Pendant Necklace and the set of 5 Diamante Hair Pins.  

Jenny has recently told us that her sister is getting married later this year, a big congratulations to her.

Her mum has chosen our new New Rose Collection to go with her Mother of the Bride outfit.  Jenny sent us a picture of the dress and the New Rose pieces she has chosen will be perfect!

Bride of the Month: Emma

The lovely Emma who writes for her sisters blog Vintage Twee is our February Bride of The Month. Emma got in touch with us before her wedding to discuss her jewellery options.

Emma had already chosen a simple vintage style gown which had some crystal detailing, she wanted to find some jewellery which would complement her dress and her bridal style.  How beautiful are all of the dresses!!

Emma chose the beautiful pearl and diamante Modern Heirloom Bracelet and Fern Drop Earrings  which were simple but added glow and glamour to Emma's wedding day look.

We then designed a bespoke necklace to match the other accessories which would look beautiful with her halterneck dress.  We decided on a simple pearl and diamante drop necklace and as you can see it looked stunning:

Bride of the Month: Laura

Laura was a very lucky bride, her family bought her Yarwood-White jewellery for her to wear on her wedding day.

She wore the Modern Heirloom Baguette Necklace which complimented her pearl and diamante detailed dress perfectly.

She also wore the Modern Heirloom Drop Earrings which are a perfect simple accessory to match both the dress and the Modern Heirloom Baguette Necklace.

Laura was also bought the Modern Heirloom Brooch, she chose to pin this to her bouquet and we think you will agree it was the perfect choice.

Bride of the Month: Jo

Jo looked a million dollars, and pulled off vintage-style whilst still looking groomed and elegant.

Jo chose her jewellery because it perfectly fitted her theme of lace and pearls and had the vintage feel she was looking for.  Jo told us she received lots of compliments on the day, especially on her unusual diamante and pearl hair pins.

The great thing about pins like this is that they can be arranged in so many ways to suit your own hairstyle.

 

"The jewellery is beautifully made and I knew that I would wear it again on another occasion." 

Jo chose a vintage-style pendant on a double row of pearls.  The brooch-like centrepiece on this necklace gives it an heirloom look.

 

Jo finished her look with simple diamante drop earrings.
